This Jumbo Jamboree Drawing Book Paperback by Ed Emberley is a great book to learn basic drawing from. However, I would recommend using Ed Emberley's Great Thumbprint Drawing Book, before this one... it is even more basic than this book and fills in some things a person might have missed in beginning drawing.It would be great if they would begin publishing this book again, so ordinary people could afford it. It is three books in one, and you can get them all individually, sort of, but in this book the "make a world" section has the section in sizes that are usable and so it is quite a bit longer, with more pages. I bought a used one and the prices shot up afterwards. I suspect some pricing software is operational here.I have some other Ed Emberley drawing books too, and find most quite useful. I would recommend them.
